PML Inspection is hiring SPRAT or IRATA rope access technicians. We have an immediate need for:
-Level 3 job supervisors.
-Level 1 and 2 technicians with either NDT or insulation experience.
This posting is for work in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate to the Greater Edmonton area.
Job Supervisors
-Responsible for supervising RA crews and overall site safety.
-Expected to work with and mentor newly trained RA inspection staff.
-Attend safety meetings and communicate safety issues to other staff.
-Instruct RA courses and conduct RA staff skill refreshment seminars.
-Expected to become familiar with inspection methods being conducted.
-Oil field or heavy industry experiences an asset.
NDT Technicians
-CGSB UT or RT technicians.
-Any level of rope access.
Insulators
-Journeymen or apprentice insulators.
- Any level of rope access.
The primary function of the Document Control Clerk is to oversee the movement of incoming and outgoing documentation and correspondence and maintain the corporate filing system. In addition, this position is responsible for receipt, recording, reproduction, distribution, and filing of project engineering and vendor drawings, documents, manuals, equipment lists, specifications, drawing lists, line lists, procedures, reports, transmittals and quality control information.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS ROLE INCLUDE:
Ongoing management of a very controlled document distribution and file system
Daily management of site incoming/outgoing mail system
Development and monitored use of project transmittal system
Development and coordination of document control audit systems
Daily interaction with numerous project resources
Management of document distribution and file system
Compilation of tender packages
Composition/distribution of document control correspondence
Photocopy and distribute correspondence for furtherance to clients and project supervision
THE REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS OF THIS ROLE INCLUDE:
Experience working within an industrial construction environment;
Minimum of three years of experience working within a Document Control role;
Able to maintain internal controls covering all aspects of document control
Able to work with minimal supervision;
Recognize problems and act quickly to rectify situations;
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Package (Word and Excel mainly)
Strong team player
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Intermediate skills with MS Office applications (ie. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Schedule+, and Exchange), with the ability to develop spreadsheets)
